Lily Moss Terrell, age 84, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 22, 1938, in Monroe County, Indiana, Lily was the daughter of Austin L. Robinson and Susan A. Hendrickson.
Lily was a devout Christian and prayer warrior, and loved her time singing and playing the piano in church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She also loved singing gospel music with her children. She enjoyed baking many pies for reunions and gatherings, and always found joy in crocheting. Lily retired after working many years as a bookkeeper and sales associate for Kirlins-Hallmark of Bloomington. Lily crocheted afghans for her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all of her family.
Lily is survived by her husband of 65 years, Thurman E. Terrell; sons, Robert J. Terrell and Kenny Terrell (Shannon); daughters, Sandra J. Kirtman, Karen S. Duckworth (Bill), Katherin L. Warthan and Janice E. Payne (Dennis); 28 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren.
Lily is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Joseph L. Robinson and John W. Fish, and daughters, Cynthia Jane Terrell and Judith Ann Terrell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27 from 10 A.M. until 1 P.M. at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard.
