Obituary for Moriah Morgan Strahan (Wirebaugh)
Moriah Morgan Strahan, age 32, of Bloomfield, Indiana, passed away on August 22, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Plymouth, Indiana on February 5, 1990, Moriah was the daughter of and Robin and Tod Wirebaugh.
Moriah was skilled at arts and crafts and enjoyed barbecuing, painting, Halloween, and helping others in any way she could, but found most joy in spending time with her family. She was employed at Hearthstone Health Campus as a Life Enrichment Administrator and worked the frontline as a first responder during the pandemic, to care for others in their time of need.
Moriah is survived by her loving husband, James Strahan; daughters, Elise Lizetta, age 14, and Emmie Jae, age 2, parents, Robin and Tod Wirebaugh; brothers, Trystan and Duncan; and paternal grandfather, Jess Ayers.
Moriah is preceded in death by her infant son, Izak Hambright; maternal grandparents, John and Sue Weaver; and paternal grandmother, Nancy Ayers.
Though many are heartbroken about the loss of Moriah’s beautiful life, she was able to give others the gift of life through organ donation.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, Indiana. Services will begin at 1:00 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riley Hospital for Children, or to the college fund of Elise Wirebaugh and Emmie Strahan.
