Gwendolyn W. Williams, kind-hearted, generous, loving, caring and thoughtful expired suddenly at her home in Bloomington, Indiana on Monday, August 1, 2022. Gwen was born in South Bend, Indiana on March 8, 1954 to the late Willie and Vernell Williams. She lived the majority of her life in South Bend, where she attended Benjamin Harrison Elementary School and graduated from Marion Catholic High School in Mishawaka, Indiana. At an early age, Gwen was baptized and diligently attended church with her mom, (late Vernell Williams) at the New Hope Baptist Church and later at the Eternal Kingdom of Freedom Church. Gwen’s last work place was at the St. Vincent DePaul Inc. where she enjoyed conversing with co-workers and customers. She was always thought of as kind-hearted, loving, generous, and caring human being, who loved to cook big soulful meals for her family and friends. Gwen liked to laugh, enjoy one another’s company, and having a great time. She will be greatly missed by all. She leaves behind her daughter, Erica Williams; son, Eric Williams; sister, Juanita Sheffield; 7 grandchildren: Natasha Thompson, Sierra Williams, Elanyzhe Williams, Eric Williams Jr., Kayla Williams, Aaron Williams, and recently late Victoria Thompson; 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other dear family members and close friends.
