Beverly Pascual, age 85, of Bloomington, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 27, 2022. She was born in Bloomington, Indiana on July 13, 1937 to Mason and Dorothy (Raines) Walden. Beverly was a 1955 graduate of University High School. As a young bride and mother living in Redkey, Indiana, she was President of Delta Theta Tau Philanthropic Society. Beverly held various administrative support positions for Indiana University, before owning her own floral business for 16 year, known as The Creative Florist, and greatly missed the flower business. She loved arts and crafts, and painting.. Beverly was a member of North Central Church of Christ. She was kind hearted and saw the best in people.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Dennis “Doc” Pascual, children, Eric Shields (Janet), Joel Shields, and Beth Rosenbaum (Floyd), grandchildren, Heather New (Devin), Jessica Mitchell (Clayton), Keith Sowders, Gareth Shields (Alysen), Gabriel Shields (Suzy McCrory), and Shelby Ernst (Justin), great-grandchildren, Marlee, Caleb, and Dawson Shields, Laura and Chloe Mitchell, Wesley Hovious, and Ethan and Ellie New, brother, Bryan Walden (Kay), and former spouse, Fred Shields.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, great-granddaughter, Corinne Shields, and brother, Bob Walden.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday with burial to follow at Chambersville Cemetery in Owen County. Pastor Shane Himes will officiate.
The family would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to the nurses, caregivers, and staff at IU Health Hospice, Richland Bean Blossom Health, and Monroe Place.
