Edgar Terrell, age 89, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital. Edgar was born on March 4, 1933 in Bloomington, Indiana to John and Myrtle (Hays) Terrell. Edgar served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a postal supervisor for Bloomington for 32 years. Edgar enjoyed mowing his lawn, hiking, taking drives, and collecting antiques.
Edgar is survived by his children, Kevin A. Terrell (Kayna) of Chocotaw, Oklahoma, Kim Anthony Terrell of Mesick, Michigan, Greg S. Terrell (Debra) of Bloomington and Edgar B. Terrell (Christy) of Orange Park, Florida, nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and siblings, Thelma, Mary, and Thurman.
Edgar was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Terrell, daughter, Angie Terrell-Wagner, parents, and siblings, Glodene, Pauline, Anna Lee, Lester, and Arlena.
Visitation for Edgar will be from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM on Monday, October 31, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday at The Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Duncan Cemetery in Brown County. Father Thomas Kovatch will officiate.
