Obituary for Lisle Edward Morrow

Lisle Edward Morrow (74) died unexpectedly on November 7, 2022 in Bloomington, Indiana. He was born on August 27, 1948 in Delta, Kentucky to Chester and Esther Morrow. His love of driving spanned jobs as a school bus driver at age 15, a delivery driver for United Parcel Service for 30 years until his retirement in 1999, a driver for Rural Transit, and many hours on the road for pleasure. He served the community through many other jobs and as a deacon of the Ellettsville Seventh-day Adventist Church. He graduated from Wayne County High School in Monticello, Kentucky in 1965 and went on to attend Somerset Community college. His children have fond memories of him fishing, playing games, spending time with family, and fixing absolutely everything. He enjoyed gardening, working outdoors, and making molasses.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years Linda (Brown) Morrow and seven children: Glen (Alcione) Morrow of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Vickie (Michael) Hess of Berrien Springs, Michigan; Douglas (Charlene) Morrow of Lake Forest Park, Washington; Michael Morrow of Bloomington; AJ Morrow of Bloomington; DaNita Fish of Florida; and Nathanael Morrow of Bloomington.
He is also missed by fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, plus 2 more this year: Camille (Albert) Morrow, Bethany Morrow, Lizzie (Sean and children Theodore, Genevieve, and Isla) Valencourt, Cecilia (Anthony and children William and Joanna) Marcellino, Priscila (Phillip) Jardine, Michael II (Natasha and baby) Hess, Joseph (Samantha and children Stephen and Joshua) Hess, Samuel (Eden and baby) Hess, Abigail, Gideon and Susannah Hess, Oliver and Violet Morrow, and Josiah and Dawsin Fish.
He is also survived by his sisters Louise New and Jannett (Gerald) Keith, and brother Kenneth (Donna) Morrow, sisters-in-law Cathy Morrow, Nicky Morrow, Jenny (James) Goldsberry, Frances (Jabbo) Mercer, Patsy Jett, Nancy (Richard) Ferguson, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Chester and Esther (Keith) Morrow, his brothers Ralph, Fairrell, and Joseph, and many other loved-ones.
Visitation will be from 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 6:00 PM on Saturday at The Funeral Chapel.
Burial will be at a later date at Morrow Cemetery in Kentucky.
