On Monday December 12, 2022, an angel earned her wings and went to be with her Lord and Savior and was met at Heaven’s Gate by her husband William (Bill) Adams. Edna Rebecca “Becky” (Galyan) Adams born October 13, 1930, passed from this life to be with the Lord on December 12, 2022. Becky was a woman of Christ, a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great- great-grandmother. She had a heart as big as the sky and a smile that would light up a room. She loved to sing and worship the Lord and loved her family. Everyone Becky met she adopted as family. She loved her flowers and had a flower garden on the hill that always brought her such joy. She was a member of Richland Church of Christ.
Becky is survived by her son Danny (Peggy) Adams of Solsberry; daughter Virginia (Randy) Raines of Springville; daughter Ireda Jo (Buddy) Hutcherson of Springville; and son David Adams, who cared for her until her passing in Bloomington. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 7 great- great-grandchildren. Becky was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Mary Lorena (Kent) Galyan, her husband William (Bill) Adams, son Billy David, brother Homer Galyan, sisters Emma McDaniel, Clairoa Asher, Alice Mathias, Wilma Robinson and Olive Lovejoy.
A visitation for Becky will be held at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard on Friday December 16 from 4-8 PM. A funeral will be on Saturday December 17 at 11 AM at The Funeral Chapel, followed by committal at Clear Creek Cemetery.
