Obituary for Mildred Hillenburg
Mildred Hillenburg, 92 years old, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 14, 2022 at 3:30 AM at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford, Indiana.
A lifelong resident of Chapel Hill, Indiana and a member of Hunter’s Creek Pentecostal Church, Mildred was born July 11, 1930 to Grover and Adelaine Stewart. She married Clyde Hillenburg November 19, 1951 and he preceded her in death in 2001.
Mildred is survived by her children Anne (Bob) Todd of Bedford, Jim (Sherry) Hillenburg of Bedford, and Sandy (Bill) Ault of Norman. She will also be remembered by her 6 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 2 great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 11 siblings: Vernon Hearth, Virgil Hearth, Russell Hearth, Herschel Hearth, Hazel Walls, Irene Oliver, Melvin Stewart, Dudley Stewart, Frances Walls, Leona Hawkins, Billy Stewart (in infancy); a great-grandchild Briley Stidd (in infancy), and great-granddaughter Abigail Guthrie in 2019.
A visitation for Mildred will be held at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard on Wednesday December 21 from 11 AM-1 PM, followed immediately with a funeral service at The Funeral Chapel at 1 PM and burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
