Norma S. Frye, 89, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away December 14, 2022 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born on October 19, 1933 to the late Ray and Flora (Moffatt) Rhodes. She graduated from Bloomington High School in 1951.
Norma was an avid reader and loved to go to yard sales, flea markets and to shop for antiques. She loved visits from her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Rick (Linda) Miller, Donna Vestuto and Jack Frye; seven grandchildren, Eric Miller, Heather Miller, Matt (Katie) Miller, Chris Miller, Tara Chambers, Kristi Wasson and Bradly Frye; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dot (Don) Puckett and Ramona Gatewood; and brother, Bobby Morgan.
Norma is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Virgil D. Frye; son, Donnie Frye; son-in-law, Andy Vestuto; daughter-in –law, Lynne Frye; grandson, William Andrew Frye; great-granddaughter, Mackenzie Miller; two sisters, Nancy Fields and Wanda Hitchcox; two brothers, Ronnie Rhodes and Bobby Rex Rhodes.
Visitation will be held at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 12:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Burgoon Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Harold Godsey will officiate.
