Martha Viola “Sis” (Hollers) Eads, 91 years old, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 17, 2022 at 1:40 AM at Stonebridge Health Campus in Bedford, Indiana. She is of Christian faith and loved going to different churches and gospel sings. She loved God and proclaimed her love for Jesus. She was a prayer warrior. She loved traveling to Tennessee and taking rides.
Martha was born April 30, 1931 to John and Evie (Deckard) Hollers. She married Omain Eads, January 11, 1948. He preceded her in death July 19, 1977.
Martha is survived by her children, Cozetta (Dan) Lucas of Springville, Tony (Beverly) Eads of Bloomington. She has two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her siblings, Walter, Pete, Sollie, Charles, Robert, Netha Utt, and Mary Lynch, and her longtime friend Ansel Kinser.
Visitation for Martha will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM at The Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Pastor Joe Nelson will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Martha’s name.
