Obituary for Clarence W. "Bill" French Jr.
Clarence William “Bill” French Jr., 70, of Solsberry passed away on Saturday December 24, 2022 at University Hospital in Indianapolis. Bill was born October 6, 1952 in Tucson, Arizona and was the son of the late Clarence W. French Sr. and Virginia Irene (McClure) French.
Bill worked at Metropolitan Printing for over 40 years. He could fix anything that was broken and enjoyed his motorcycle, fishing, driving a truck and camping. What brought his the greatest joy was doing things with his family and big hugs from his granddaughter Taylor.
Bill is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Donetta K. (Hacker) French; son, Travis (Valerie) French and his granddaughter, Taylor French.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and 3 siblings, Jim French, Tom French, and Lois Ann McGlocklin.
Services for Bill will be 2:00 pm Thursday December 29, 2022 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard. Brother Michael Douglas will officiate the service and burial will follow at Greene County Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
