Obituary for Albert "Sonny" Cain II
Albert “Sonny” Cain II, age 58 of Bloomington, Indiana passed away at his residence on Monday, January 16, 2023. Sonny was born on December 14, 1964 to Albert Cain I and Georgia (Sparks) Cain.
When Sonny was younger, he enjoyed drawing, which eventually led him to his occupation as a tattoo artist. He owned Graphic Dragon Tattoos, where he loved creating tattoos and tattooing. Sonny loved going to South Dakota for Strugis, where he did a lot of tattooing. Sonny also worked at Al’s Two Way Radio with his dad. Sonny enjoyed piddling, leather work, wood working, and whittling. Sonny liked music, especially blues and rock. He loved photography, and caring for his chickens and the wild deer near his house. Sonny loved to have a good laugh and was well known as a jokester.
Sonny is survived by his daughters, Aliss (Cain) Anderson, Amanda (Cain) Gregg, and Kaylynn Cain, son, Austin Cain, mother, Georgia Cain, sister, Juli Stuth (David), wife, Tracey Alonso, grandchildren, Jaiden, Emry, Eli, Miles, Winter, Nora, David, Samara, Johnathan, and November, and three nieces.
Sonny was preceded in death by his father, Albert Cain I, maternal grandparents, Martha and Donald Sparks, paternal grandparents, Josephine and Stanley Cain, aunt, Donna Segar, uncle, Robert Sparks, and best friend, Theodore Starbuck.
Visitation for Sonny will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
