Ronald “Ron” Eads, 82, of Bloomington, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was born on April 13, 1940 in Bloomington to Douglas and Ruth (Southern) Eads. Ron loved his cars, and was very devoted to keeping his immaculate. He enjoyed going for rides, fishing, and was an avid mushroom hunter.
Ron is survived by his children Richie, Scott, Brent, Mark, and David (Rachel) Eads, and Jennifer (Jason) Tate, grandchildren, Alex, Kevin, Jessie, Madison “Maddie”, Tyler, Eden, Adeleine, Calli, and Eli, great-grandchildren, Tobias and River, and siblings, Rogenia Cox, Carolyn Miller, and Douglas “Burton” Eads.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Jeremy, and wife, Barbara “Jeanie” Eads.
Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 PM on Friday, January 27, 2023 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third Street Bloomington, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday at The Funeral Chapel, with burial to follow at Knight of Pythias Cemetery in Smithville. Pastor Greg Eads will officiate.
