Obituary for Carolyn Sue Beck
Carolyn Sue Beck (Jones-Higgins) 87, passed away on February 28, 2023 in Sarasota, Florida.
She leaves behind 4 daughters and their families; Kathryn (Michael) Cassel and daughters, Paige, Kate and Emily, Jennifer (David) Sheese and sons, Greg (Hanna) Clark, John Clark, and Bill (Anna) Clark, 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, Shelly (Tim) Gillespie , sons Carson (Adriana) and Parker, daughter Jadyn, and Stephanie Beck and daughters, Miley McDonald, Savanna McDonald and Piper McDonald; and her brother Homer Jones.
Carolyn was proceeded in death by her parents, Charles Jones and Eva Marie (Williams) Jones, daughter, Maria Kathleen, brothers Marvin, Donald and Keith, sisters, LaVerne, Joan and Connie.
Carolyn loved the outdoors, enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and working in her flower gardens.
Services for Carolyn will be 2:00 pm Friday March 10, 2023 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard. Burial will follow the services at Clear Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday March 9, 2023 from 5-8 pm at The Funeral Chapel and on Friday from 12:00 pm until service time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Carolyn’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project
