Obituary for Mary Louise Wootton
Mary Louise Wootton, age 76, of Bloomington, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on March 29, 2023.
Mary was born on March 26, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky, and raised there until 1970. Mary was the daughter of Carl and Marie Striepe.
Mary was well-known for her service at Bill C Brown Associates for over 20 years, as well as her employment with Ken Nunn Law Office. She was a long-time member of St. Charles Boromeo Catholic Church. Mary enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family traveling to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and also found great joy in the time she spent with her nieces and nephews.
Mary is survived by her sons, Chris and Scott Wootton; sister, Karen Webb (Jim) brother, Carl Striepe (Cheryl); several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents.
A reception of family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Wounded Warrior Project.
