Roy Curtis Vibbert
Roy Curtis “Curt” Vibbert, 71, of Bloomington, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at his residence. Born, October 20, 1938 in Burkesville, KY, he was the son of Arthur Lee and Ada Pernie (Abney) Vibbert. Curt was an electrician for Huff Electric in Indianapolis. He was a truck driver for Pittman Oil and was the owner/proprietor of the Biscuit Pantry Restaurant, both in Nashville. He was loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed horseback riding and fishing. Curt was a member of South Union Christian Church. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Sandy (Hill) Vibbert, one son, Bud (Jennifer) Vibbert of Spencer, two daughters, Darla (Randy) Foreman of Warsaw, Vicki Vibbert of Apalachin, NY, five grandchildren, Vincent Vibbert, Kelsi Rea, Jordan Foreman, Evan Vibbert and Josiah Vibbert, four great-grandchildren, two brothers, Raymond and Donnie Vibbert, one sister, Jean Deem. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Truman Vibbert, two sisters, Marie Gibbons, and Grace Spurlin. Services will be 11:00am Saturday, October 2, 2010 at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard, 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington, with Jim Cain officiating. Visitation will be 6-8pm Friday at The Funeral Chapel, and 10am-11am Saturday before the service. Burial will be at South Union Cemetery.
