Our Facilities

While extremely functional, the facilities at Funeral Chapel are also designed to provide maximum comfort for both family and guests. A complete interior renovation in 2009 included new furniture throughout, new carpet, new wall coverings, remodeling of visitation rooms and kitchen, and new lighting fixtures.

The hallmark of the building has always been our renowned chapel, which offers a church-like setting that is to our knowledge unique in Indiana. The chapel features an elevated convex ceiling delicately illuminated by specially designed lighting, large cathedral-type windows, and solid maple pews with full-length cushions, all of which give it a feeling of reverence and dignity. The chapel offers generous seating for more than 200 guests and provides an unmatched backdrop distinctly appropriate for celebrating the life and memory of a loved one.

Our two visitation rooms are exceptionally spacious, allowing for personal privacy when paying last respects while also providing ample room for family to greet guests and for guests to share their memories with one another.

We also have a kitchen and lounge area for family use during the extended time they may be on the premises. And our library/solitude area is ideal for those times when a moment or two alone is required.
