Golfing with Dan

A class guy who will be missed by family, friends and clients alike. So shocking. My heart and prayers go out to Janet and her family.

A lighhearted story if I may:

Years ago we were in a golf scramble for our insurance agents association. From the next fairway over I suddenly heard a very frantic Dan Spore yelling, "Fore, fore FORE!!" I looked up just in time to see a golf ball as it missed my head by about 2 inches. But he was pretty far away. I couldn't resist. I threw my legs up in the air and landed flat on my back and didn't move. The next thing I knew he was powersliding his golf cart up next to me in a panic. He jumped out and was yelling my name and asking if I was okay. I couldn't help but start giggling. The next thing I knew I think he was chasing me with a golf club.

I'm sure there are a thousand stories from family, friends, and past students.
